Kara Carlston

Kara Carlston has extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning, and project management across various industries. Currently serving as the Board Chair for Ouelessebougou Alliance since July 2019, Kara administers health, education, and literacy projects while engaging in fundraising and strategic initiatives. As a Mortgage Broker at Peterson Funding, Kara focuses on relationship building and income generation through sales and marketing. Kara has also contributed as a Research and Development Specialist at the Academy for Creating Enterprise, where significant research and proposals were developed for educational initiatives in the Philippines. Previously, Kara held the position of Chief Operations Officer at Silver Pelican Photography, overseeing all operations and marketing efforts, and worked in marketing and strategic relations at Marriott International. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Brigham Young University and additional coursework in education and graduate studies in English.
