Lanae Hooper

Lanae Hooper is an experienced accounting professional with a diverse background in financial management and leadership. Currently serving as an Accountant at the Academy for Creating Enterprise since April 2021, Lanae also operates as a self-employed Bookkeeper since January 2017. Prior experience includes a role as Controller at C Squared from July 2015 to November 2016, where Lanae provided premium finance and accounting services for small businesses. Lanae has held leadership positions within the Mountain View High School Choir Parent Association, serving as President from 2012 to 2015, and Treasurer from 2008 to 2011, overseeing fundraising efforts and budget management. Earlier experience includes serving as Managing Director/Instructor for Talent Team Children's Musical Theatre and as a Senior Accountant in the audit division at Deloitte & Touche. Lanae Hooper earned a Masters of Accountancy with a focus on Accounting Information Systems and Audit from Brigham Young University between 1982 and 1989.
