Caroline Halsted is a Senior Research Associate at AcademyHealth, where Caroline manages and supports various research projects in state health policy. Prior to this role, Caroline worked as a Research Analyst at the National Association of State Alcohol and Drug Abuse Directors (NASADAD), where Caroline was the project lead for women's and youth services. Caroline also has experience as a Dunn Fellow for Federal Affairs at the State of Illinois Office of Governor JB Pritzker, where Caroline coordinated interactions with federal entities and evaluated proposed legislation impact. With a background in Health/Health Care Administration/Management and a minor in Political Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Caroline has also interned at various organizations including Northwestern University, Fund for Global Health, and National Center for Health Research.
