Liz Hughston is the President of the National Veterinary Professionals Union, Co-Founder of Veterinary Cannabinoid Academy, and Credentialing Committee Chair at the Academy of Internal Medicine for Veterinary Technicians. Liz also serves as MinMod at NOT ONE MORE VET INC and is the Owner and Head Technician at VetTechXpert. In addition, Liz is a Moderator at the Not One More Vet Support Staff group and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board at DVM360.com. Liz holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature, a Master of Education in Education, and an Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology.

Academy of Internal Medicine for Veterinary Technicians
The Academy of Internal Medicine for Veterinary Technicians is a group of technicians from varied backgrounds who have come together to realize the formation of a specialty organization specifically for veterinary technicians working in Internal Medicine. We come from universities, specialty practices, referral practices, general practices, and research facilities. We have one common mission: to promote interest and advanced skills in the discipline of internal medicine on the part of the veterinary technician. We are a group that has been said to “not let the grass grow under our feet…” and so we plan to continue to work hard and remain steadfast to accomplish our goals as well as set and meet new ones in the coming years. We welcome all veterinary technicians with the desire to gain a better understanding and skill level in internal medicine to consider joining us as we grow. #AIMingForExcellence
