Rob Lion

Rob Lion, Ph.D., is a Professor of Human Resource Development at Idaho State University since July 2012, where courses taught include Foundations of Human Resource Development and Change Management. Concurrently, Rob serves as Principal at Black River Performance Management and as a Value Added Associate at TTI Success Insights. Rob is also a Channel Partner with The Ken Blanchard Companies and has contributed to the Academy of Management and Academy of Human Resource Development as a volunteer. As a Contributing Editor for Performance Improvement Quarterly, Rob brings extensive academic and practical experience in performance improvement and organizational change. Prior to these roles, Rob held administrative and teaching positions at Northern Michigan University, focusing on internships, community relations, and coordination of the MBA program. Rob earned a Ph.D. in Training and Performance Improvement from Capella University and has a Master of Science from Drake University and a Bachelor of Arts from Graceland University.
