Linda Yoder has extensive experience in nursing and healthcare leadership, currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses (AMSN) since November 2016. As a Professor at The University of Texas at Austin since August 2007, Linda contributes to nursing education and research. Linda is also an alumna of the Robert Wood Johnson Executive Nurse Fellowship, completing the 2011 cohort. With a distinguished military career in the U.S. Army Nurse Corps from August 1974 to September 2002, Linda retired as a Colonel. Linda's academic qualifications include a PhD in Nursing Research from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA from the University of the Incarnate Word, a Master's in Clinical Nursing from UT Health San Antonio, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Maryland School of Nursing, along with a Master's of Strategic Studies from The United States Army War College.
