Drayton Benedict has a diverse and extensive work experience in the creative industry. Starting in 2012 as an intern at Ginsberg / Libby Public Relations, they gained experience in press junkets, press pitches, and establishing coverage relationships. Drayton then worked as a Creative Assets Coordinator at Gathr Films, where they created and executed digital/print marketing assets and developed the company's brand.

In 2015, Benedict joined Concept Arts Inc. as a Jr. Print Producer, responsible for developing creative briefs, monitoring progress, and executing creative elements for projects such as Mad Max: Fury Road and Blade Runner 2049.

Following this, they joined the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as a Theater Operations staff member. During their time there, they directly managed the development of print/digital campaign materials for films such as Jojo Rabbit and The French Dispatch. Drayton also contributed original concepts, designs, and research to all print/digital projects while integrating input from multiple stakeholders.

Benedict then worked at MediaMonks as a Digital Producer in 2021, and at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences as the Senior Director, Brand Creative in 2023.

Drayton Benedict holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from the University of Southern California, where they majored in Critical Film Studies and minored in Communication Design. Drayton is currently pursuing a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University-Los Angeles, starting in 2020 and expected to graduate in 2023. Additionally, Drayton participated in a Digital Filmmaking Summer Course at the New York Film Academy in 2008. In the past, they also studied Anthropology and Economic Development at the Università degli Studi di Firenze and attended Syracuse University in Florence.
