Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala

Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across health advocacy and media. As a Board Member at José R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center since November 2022 and a member of the Patient Advocacy Committee for The Lancet Commission on Women and Cancer, Kara emphasizes the importance of health issues, particularly women's health. Key positions include Founding Partner at Storytellers International Inc. and Asianeye Productions, Independent Director at Zodiac Health Ventures Inc., and President of the Filipino Documentary Society. Additionally, Kara has been a Co-Chairman of the Cancer Coalition of the Philippines and an Outreach Coordinator for Good Pitch2 Southeast Asia. A Contributing Producer for CNN since 1992, Kara holds a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Boston University and an AB in Mass Communications from Ateneo de Manila University.
