Steven Kravitz

Steven Kravitz, DPM, FAPWHc has a diverse range of experience in the field of wound healing and podiatry. Steven has served as the President of the Council for Medical Education and Testing since 2008, where they developed and implemented a physician-specific certification program for wound healing. Additionally, they have held the position of President and Executive Director of the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing since 2011, where they focus on providing physician-oriented education and addressing the unique needs of prescribing physicians in wound care. Dr. Kravitz has also been an Assistant Professor at the Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine since 1980. Furthermore, they have served as the Medical Director of Carolon, a company specializing in compression therapy, from 2011 to 2018. Lastly, they were the Executive Director of the American Professional Wound Care Association from 2001 to 2011.

Steven Kravitz, DPM, FAPWHc attended Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine, formerly known as Pennsylvania College, where they obtained a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree in 1979. Steven has not specified a start or end year for their education at this institution. In 2008, they obtained certification in Wound Care/Wound Healing from the Academy of Physicians in Wound Healing and Council for Medical Education and Treatment.
