Alexandru Corlateanu

Alexandru Corlateanu possesses extensive experience in academia and editorial roles related to pulmonary medicine. Currently a member of the editorial board at BMC Pulmonary Medicine and an active member of the Life Sciences Section at the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Alexandru also holds a professorship at the Nicolae Testemitanu State University of Medicine and Pharmacy of the Republic of Moldova, where responsibilities include leading the Department of Respiratory Medicine and Allergology and overseeing the Research Cooperation Unit. Additional roles encompass serving as a National Expert for Health within Horizon Europe, editor for the Canadian Respiratory Journal, and advisory board member for the İstanbul Medical Journal. Furthermore, Alexandru is a clinical expert for the Medicines Agency of Moldova and has contributed to various editorial boards, including the World Journal of Clinical Cases and Frontiers in Drug Safety and Regulation. Alexandru earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from the same university, with a specialization in pulmonary diseases.
