Sumeet Mittal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in construction, design, and property development across a variety of industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Construction and Design at Academy Sports + Outdoors since September 2021, Sumeet leads teams in expanding store design and construction. Prior roles include Sr. Director of Property Development at Life Time Inc., Vice President of Design, Construction & Facilities Management at Total Wine & More, and VP of Development at Earls Restaurants, among others. With leadership experience at Best Buy, Abercrombie & Fitch, Gap Inc., and expertise in urban design from Civitas, Sumeet brings a strong focus on cost reduction, quality improvement, and sustainable practices. Sumeet holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor of Architecture from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
