Matt Weatherford

Matt Weatherford has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matt is currently working at Acadeum as a Director of Engineering since May 2023, after serving as a Senior Software Developer from July 2021 to May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Allstate Identity Protection from March 2020 to July 2021. Before that, they were a Software Developer at SchooLinks from February 2018 to March 2020. Matt also has experience as an Independent Contractor, where they worked as a Software Developer for WorkMonger, utilizing technologies such as React, Redux, AWS, MySQL, Algolia, and Django to create an online portal. Matt also has teaching experience as a Professor of Logic, Ethics, and Introduction to Philosophy at Lone Star College from August 2015 to July 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Private Tutor at Cram Crew Inc. from September 2013 to June 2015. Matt's early work experience includes volunteering as a Summer Volunteer at The Westview School, where they provided tutoring support to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders or Pervasive Developmental Disorders. Matt also worked as an Accounts Receivable Specialist at Southern Floral Company from February 2010 to May 2012.

Matt Weatherford has a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Philosophy from the University of St. Thomas (TX), which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. Matt also holds a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Thomistic Philosophy from the same university, earned from 2013 to 2015. Furthermore, Matt pursued an interdisciplinary bioethics program at Yale University in 2013. Matt recently completed a Web Development Certificate program in Software Development at The University of Texas at Austin from 2016 to 2017.
