Chief Flight Nurse & Education Supervisor at Acadian Ambulance

Toni originally joined Acadian Ambulance in 1992 as an EMT-Basic. She earned her nursing degree from the then-University of Southwestern Louisiana. Throughout her career, she has worked in a wide variety of settings, including EMS/prehospital, ER, cath lab, recovery, ICU, travel nursing, agency nursing, rotor- and fixed-wing, BEMS/AHA/National EMS Academy instruction, home health, EMR, data entry, case management, insurance verification, QI chart review and Medicare/Medicaid Auditing.

Ton has been with Air Med since 2016 as a certified flight registered nurse and flight paramedic. As the chief flight nurse/education supervisor, she is responsible for teaching and tracking all CAMTS education and credentialing requirements for all flight nurses and flight paramedics. She manages the RN clinical practice clearance and auditing of flight nurse documentation. She also oversees Air Med's blood program.
