Michele Kristof

Ms. Michele Kristof’s healthcare career spans over 20 years, including serving in bedside and leadership roles at a Level 1 Trauma Center. Michele is a licensed Registered Nurse and earned her BSN from Elmhurst College. Michele’s academic pursuits continue as she is actively working toward her MSN. Michele’s accomplishments include a Top 25 Nurses of Acadiana recognition.

Michele is originally from Louisiana but moved to Illinois in 1991, where she graduated from Moraine Valley Community College in 1998 with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science – Nursing. She then returned to school in 2011 and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Science – Nursing from Elmhurst University. She worked at a Level One Trauma Center in Oak Lawn, Illinois for over 14 years, serving in both bedside and leadership roles, which provided her with unique experience and clinical background that few clinicians are exposed to. This provided Ms. Kristof with a well-rounded and diverse resume to lead her fellow clinicians in healthcare.

Upon returning home to Louisiana in 2012, Ms. Kristof spent four years at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, where she served as the Director of ICU, Burn Unit and Wound Care Department, and maintained oversight of over 80 employees. She then accepted a position at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette, where she served three years as the AVP of Clinical Services.

Ms. Kristof joined the AMG Corporate Team in 2019 as VP of Clinical Services. Her essential role as AMG’s senior clinical expert supports a relationship with all of AMG hospitals’ clinical leaders and departments across the organization. Ms. Kristof is extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with so many amazing clinicians that have an overwhelming focus on quality patient care and extraordinary outcomes.
