Satnam Singh

Satnam Singh has a diverse work experience in the field of data science. Satnam worked as a Chief Data Scientist at Acalvio Technologies, where they built a data science and deception product to defend against cyber attacks. Satnam played a vital role in developing the organization's AI strategy and successfully executing it.

Prior to Acalvio Technologies, Satnam worked as a Principal Data Scientist at CA Technologies and Samsung Electronics. At CA Technologies, they transformed in-house talent into data scientists and created a data science team. In both roles, they designed and developed various data science features in IT Operations and Mobile Application Analytics.

Before joining CA Technologies and Samsung Electronics, they worked at General Motors as a Senior Data Scientist in the GM India Science Lab. In this role, they collaborated with business leaders from multiple verticals to solve business problems using ML-based data solutions. Satnam also served as a Principal Investigator in collaborative projects with Hughes Research Lab (HRL), USA, University of Connecticut (UConn), and IIT Kharagpur. Additionally, they built and led a team of Ph.D. professionals.

Satnam Singh completed their BE degree in Honors at the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, from 1992 to 1996. Satnam then pursued an MS degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Wyoming, from 2000 to 2003. Lastly, they obtained their PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Connecticut, from 2003 to 2007.
