Esther Stern

Assistant Director Of Care Management at Advance Care Alliance of New York

Esther Stern has a diverse work experience in various roles and organizations. Esther started their career at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene as a Research Associate. Esther then worked at the United Jewish Organizations of Williamsburg as a Manager for Social Services Program Caseworker. Following that, they joined Every Benefit and Insurance as a Social Services Application Support, where they provided application support for the Consumer Directed Personal Assistance Program and managed health care coverage changes. Afterwards, Esther worked at Hasc Center, Inc. as a Case Management Advocate MSC. Currently, they are employed at Advance Care Alliance of New York, where they started as a Care Manager and later became the Assistant Director of Care Management.

Esther Stern started their education at CUNY Kingsborough Community College, where they pursued an Associate of Arts (A.A.) degree in Liberal Arts/Allied Health Care. Esther attended this institution from 2006 to 2008. After that, they continued their studies at Hunter College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Public Health and Community Health Education. Esther completed their degree at Hunter College from 2008 to 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Esther Stern also obtained a Certificate of training in core competencies as a Community Health Worker (CHW). This certification was obtained from the Columbia School of Public Health, although the specific time when they obtained it is not provided.
