Katherine Roman Caggiano

Katherine Roman Caggiano has extensive work experience in the field of care management. Katherine started their career as a Caseworker at Family Service Association of Nassau Co in 1990 and later worked as a Treatment Coordinator at Abilene Regional MHMR Center from 1993 to 1997. In 1997, they joined Custom Cable as an Administrative Assistant before moving on to IPS Alarms as an Office Manager from 1998 to 2003.

From 2003 to 2019, Katherine worked at the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County (CP Nassau), where they held the role of Care Management Supervisor. In this position, they oversaw the daily operations of the Care Management department and ensured compliance with agency, state, and federal standards. Katherine also managed staff schedules and approved leave and paid time off.

In 2019, Katherine joined Advance Care Alliance as the Director of Care Management. Katherine was responsible for overseeing a Care Management Team and managing services for over 700 individuals. Katherine ensured department compliance with all agency, state, and federal standards while also handling staff scheduling and leave management. During a restructuring in 2020, they retained their position as Assistant Director of Care Management and assumed additional supervisor responsibilities due to their exemplary performance, flexibility, and positive work ethic.
