Shariq Akhund

Shariq Akhund is a senior associate at Acasus - Brave Change, with extensive experience in improving immunization outcomes in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Sindh, collaborating with senior government officials and international stakeholders, including GAVI. Shariq has led teams to enhance vaccination strategies, developed monitoring systems for vaccination centers, and conducted field assessments to address challenges in the implementation of health programs. Prior roles include vice president of the LUMS Society of Professional Accountancy and teaching assistant at Lahore University of Management Sciences. Shariq holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from Lahore University of Management Sciences and has completed a Global Business Program at FH Joanneum.
