Lucie Depoo, Ph.D.

Lucie Depoo, Ph.D. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Since 2022, they have been working as the Associate Director of Accreditation at ACBSP Global Business Programs, where they are responsible for ensuring the accreditation process. Lucie has also held various other roles at the company, including Accreditation Reviewer and Site Evaluator, Committee Member for Marketing and Digital Media Communication, Champion for Accreditation, and Chairperson of ACBSP International Council (Region 8).

Prior to their current position, Lucie worked at Vysoká škola ekonomie a managementu - Praha from 2011 onwards. In this role, they served as the Vice-rector/Chief Academic Officer, providing leadership and academic oversight. Lucie also worked as a Researcher on R&D projects and as a Faculty Lecturer.

Additionally, Lucie has served on committees and boards, including the Rada vysokých škol as a Committee Member for Private HEIs and Legislation, and as a General Member of the Board. Lucie Depoo, Ph.D. started their education in 2004 when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Management from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague. Lucie continued their studies at the same university and earned a Master's degree in Economics and Management from 2007 to 2009. In 2009, Lucie enrolled in the Faculty of Economics and Management CZU Prague and completed their Ph.D. in Management in 2012.

In 2004, Lucie also obtained the ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) certification from the ČSKI – Czech Organisation for Cybernetics and Informatics. In 2005, they received the Mambo Open Source Content Management certification from STICHTING NHTV INTERNATIONALE HOGESCHOOL BREDA. Additionally, in 2006, they obtained the Tour Guide for Region Prague certification from TYRKYS – School of Tourism.

After completing their Ph.D., Lucie pursued an academic career. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as an Associate Professor (doc.) at the Prague University of Economics and Business, specializing in Business Economics and Management.
