Barry Cope

Barry Cope has an extensive work experience in finance and accounting. From September 2002 to May 2006, they worked as an Audit Senior at PKF (UK) LLP. Barry then joined Bibby Line Group in May 2006 as the Group Financial Controller/Divisional Head of Finance, where they gained hands-on experience in managing a diverse portfolio of private-equity-like businesses. Their role involved overseeing the financial operations of various sized businesses, including international operations. Barry worked at Bibby Line Group until November 2020. In February 2021, they briefly served as the Interim Financial Controller at AO. From May 2021 onwards, they have been working as the Director of Finance at ACC Liverpool. Additionally, starting from March 2022, they have taken on the role of Board Treasurer at The Meetings Industry Association.

Barry Cope completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Business Economics from the University of Liverpool, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.
