Jocelyn Garner

Jocelyn Garner, CPA, currently serves as the Financial Director at AWAIC since February 2024. Prior to this role, Garner held positions at Porter & Allison, Inc. as an Assurance Manager from February 2020 to February 2024, and at the Alaska Energy Authority Inc. where responsibilities included Assistant Controller, Senior Accountant, and General Ledger Accountant from September 2014 to February 2020. Garner's career began at BDO USA, LLP as an Audit Senior from June 2010 to September 2014, performing audits for various entities, including governments and not-for-profits. Garner holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, obtained between 2007 and 2010, and attended Chemeketa Community College from 2005 to 2007.
