Joshua's early work experience includes serving as a Bartender at Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery, where they excelled in training and development while earning notable achievements. Joshua Pluer began their education journey in 1997 at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Spanish and Sociology. During their time there, they focused on studying Spanish Language/Literature and Sociology. After completing their bachelor's degree, Joshua attended the Universidad de Valladolid in 1999, where they took part in a program centered around Spanish language and culture.
