Alexis Pigeon has a diverse and extensive work experience. Alexis began their career at OTCFin as a J2EE developer from October 2004 to May 2005. Alexis then joined Nex Net Services S.L. (NEXGrup) as a J2EE analyst developer, where they primarily worked on technical design, implementation, and maintenance of Intranet and Extranet applications from May 2005 to July 2008. During their time at Nex Net Services, they also worked as a technical reviewer for "iText in Action - 2nd Edition," published in November 2010.

In September 2008, Alexis joined Cap Gemini as a Senior J2EE analyst developer, working on Serviticket - laCaixa, Spain's leading ticket sale company until November 2011.

In November 2011, they joined Artificial Solutions as a Lead Android Developer - Technical Consultant. Alexis played a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining virtual assistants on client websites across the European market. Alexis also worked on the development of natural language-agnostic Java libraries for smartphone embedded virtual assistants. Alexis left Artificial Solutions in October 2014 after leading the development of their first Android app, Indigo, a voice-enabled personal assistant.

From November 2014 to May 2018, Alexis worked at Accedo.tv as a Tech Lead/Team Lead - Senior Software Engineer. Alexis then transitioned into the role of Engineering Lead from May 2018 to June 2019, where they served as a Technical Business Analyst for various projects and managed a team of 2-5 developers. In June 2019, they were promoted to Engineering Manager, responsible for personal and professional development of their direct reports, enforcing engineering standards, and supporting recruitment and resourcing for projects. Additionally, they held the role of Solution Architect in several projects during their tenure, including a sports app on Facebook Portal TV and an Operator-Tier AndroidTV Launcher for TMobile Poland.

Currently, Alexis is with Accedo.tv as an Engineering Director. Alexis'sresponsibilities include personal and professional development for engineering teams in Stockholm and Delhi, enforcing engineering standards, driving strategic initiatives across functions and regions, and leading recruitment efforts. Alexis is also serving as a Solution Architect for a VR video app for a Tier-1 media broadcaster.

Alexis Pigeon has a solid education history in the field of computer science. They started their academic journey at the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rouen in 1998 but did not obtain any specific degree or field of study during that period. From 2000 to 2003, Alexis pursued a MSc in Software Engineering at the Institut national des Sciences appliquées de Rennes, specializing in Computer Science. In 2002, Alexis also spent a year at Roskilde University, further exploring the field of Computer Science.

Expanding their knowledge outside of computer science, Alexis attended UNIS (University Center in Svalbard) between 2003 and 2004. During this time, they focused on Arctic Technology and Offshore Engineering as well as Arctic Geophysics.

Alexis Pigeon also holds an additional certification as an Eyevinn Certified Streaming Professional, which they obtained from Eyevinn Technology in May 2019.
