Courtney Freeman

Courtney Freeman is currently serving as a CTE Pathway & Certification Specialist at ACCEL Schools, where responsibilities include leading the development of career and technical education (CTE) pathways and collaborating with teams to create aligned curriculum. Previous experience includes serving as a CTE: Health Science Teacher at Stride, Inc., focusing on virtual instruction for over 250 students in healthcare-related courses, and implementing strategies that resulted in a significant improvement in content retention. Additionally, Courtney worked as a CTE: Family and Consumer Science Teacher at Beech Grove City Schools, where advocacy for students led to a high project completion rate and a notable increase in passing rates through targeted support. Earlier teaching experience includes a role in Physical Education at Oak Hill High School. Courtney Freeman holds a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences from Indiana University Kokomo and a Graduate Certificate in Health and Physical Education from Taylor University.
