Sahan Dissanayaka

Sahan Dissanayaka is a data scientist currently employed at ISA since February 2025. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Fellow at the University of Central Florida, where research focused on Geometric Deep Learning for molecules, and a brief tenure as a Research Assistant at the University of Colombo School of Computing. Sahan also worked as a Data Science Engineer at ISA and as a Research Engineer with The AI Team, with an earlier role as a Research Intern at the University of Colombo School of Computing, specializing in time series models. In academic pursuits, Sahan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Colombo School of Computing and has participated in various leadership roles, including chairperson of the IEEE Student Branch of UCSC and webmaster for multiple student organizations. Contributions include participation in Google Summer of Code 2021 for SCoRe Lab.
