Carlos A Oliveras

Carlos A. Oliveras is an accomplished executive in the insurance and risk management sectors, currently serving as the Head of Captive Solutions at Accelerant since November 2024. Previously, from August 2021 to November 2024, Carlos held the position of Managing Director, EVP, and Head of Insurance at The Demex Group, where significant contributions included developing a modular parametric policy framework and successfully securing required licenses. As President and Consultant at CAO ADVISORS from August 2015 to August 2021, Carlos provided strategic advice across various industries and notably protected a hedge fund client from a high-risk investment. Carlos has also served as the CEO of Kane (USA), Inc., orchestrating a major turnaround in the captive insurance management business, and as Managing Director at Aon Risk Services, focusing on growth in the private equity vertical. Earlier experience includes senior leadership roles at Alea Group Holdings, where Carlos oversaw a $1.3B P&L portfolio. Carlos earned a BA in Economics from Fordham University.
