Jaya Todai has a varied work experience in different positions and industries. Jaya served as the Director of Program Operations at Accelerate Change Network since 2019. Prior to that, they were self-employed at degree360 from 2017 to 2019. As the Head of Media at Chattanooga Film Festival from 2017 to 2018, Jaya documented interviews, designed a media department, and served as the festival's official portrait photographer. Jaya also worked as the VP of Marketing at Engajer from 2016 to 2017 and as the Director of Development at Feminology, LLC from 2015 to 2016. Jaya was a Fellow at Causeway from 2014 to 2015 and held the role of Student Assistant Director at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 2012 to 2015, where they developed and taught a curriculum on systems change. Jaya also worked as an Innkeeper/Housekeeper/Server at Mayor's Mansion Inn in 2014.
Jaya Todai obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English with a focus on Creative Writing from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Jaya attended this university from 2011 to 2015. Later, Jaya pursued further studies in Creative Writing at the City University of Hong Kong, but no specific degree or completion dates were provided.
