Ben Turng

Ben Turng has a significant amount of work experience in the biotechnology industry. Ben started their career in 1998 as an R&D Manager at BD Diagnostic Systems, where they stayed until 2013. During their time there, they gained expertise in R&D management. In 2013, they joined Accelerate Diagnostics as the Head of Innovation/Assay Development. After two years, they moved to BD China as the R&D Director, where they stayed until 2020. At BD China, they were responsible for overseeing research and development activities. Currently, Ben Turng works at Accelerate Diagnostics as the Head of Asia, Operations, and Scientific Affairs, a position they assumed in October 2020.

Ben Turng earned a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Maryland Baltimore, where they studied from 1990 to 1996.
