Jim Kalos

Jim Kalos is an experienced instructional designer with a focus on K-12 online and hybrid learning environments. At Accelerate Education since November 2020, Jim designs courses, hires and trains Subject Matter Experts, and manages projects utilizing the ADDIE model. Previous roles include curriculum development at the American Higher Education Development Corporation and as an Educational Development Executive at Open Languages, where Jim created instructional materials and managed a Learning Management System. Jim's earlier experience in eLearning curriculum development and technology coaching in various educational institutions highlights a strong background in adult learning theory, project management, and collaboration with educators to enhance instructional strategies. Jim holds multiple degrees in Adult Education, Instructional Design, English/Language Arts, and Business Administration.
