Marie Bigham

Marie Bigham is an accomplished leader in the field of college admissions and equity. As the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Accelerated Equity Insights since January 2021, Bigham has focused on fostering systemic change in the admissions process. Previously, Bigham founded and served as the Executive Director of ACCEPT: Admissions Community Cultivating Equity & Peace Today from July 2016 to March 2024, advocating for social justice and equity within the admissions profession. With extensive experience in college counseling at several prestigious institutions including Isidore Newman School, Greenhill School, The Bishop's School, and Riverdale Country School, Bigham has held significant roles in shaping student access to post-secondary education. Bigham’s career in admissions began as the Associate Director of Admissions at Washington University, complemented by a foundation in political science and women's studies from Washington University in St. Louis.
