Skip Bourdo

In November 2020 Skip Bourdo was appointed the Chief Operating Officer at Athletico Physical Therapy, where he oversees all clinical operations, operational excellence, real estate and strategy functions. Prior to joining Athletico, Skip spent 27 years at Walgreens in various senior leadership roles, most recently responsible for Walgreens Western Operation representing 4,700 stores in the Western, Southern and non-mainland states plus Puerto Rico and USVI. In 2018, Skip led the Walgreens Business Transformation team, accountable for business planning, the change office, and further development of the organization to optimize operations.

Earlier in Skip’s career, he had the opportunity to successfully integrate and grow key acquisitions at Walgreens including the Happy Harry’s pharmacy acquisition while he was a District Manager in Delaware in 2006 and the Duane Reade pharmacies while he was the Regional Vice President in New York City in 2014.

Skip earned a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business.
