Alice Hartley

Alice Hartley serves on the Board of Directors for Accelerating Circularity, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing circular systems for textiles in the U.S. and EU since January 2019. As Under Armour's first Director of Circularity from February 2023 to June 2024, Alice set the program's strategic direction, refined its 2030 vision, and executed against ten public targets, while presenting regularly to senior leadership and the Board. Previously, Alice spent a decade at Gap Inc., starting as Manager of Sustainable Innovation and advancing to Director of Product Sustainability & Circularity, where initiatives included the company's first resale trial and a textile-to-textile recycling pilot, impacting a $14 billion portfolio. Alice also held the Packard Environment Fellow position at MIT Sloan School of Management, focusing on clean energy technology for agriculture. Alice holds an MBA with a focus on Sustainable Design from MIT Sloan and a BA in Geography/Political Ecology from Dartmouth College.
