Ruth Casselman

Ruth Casselman serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Chair of the Board of Directors at the Accelerator Centre, recognized as Canada’s top private business accelerator, facilitating customizable support for Canadian startups. Ruth also holds the position of Board Chair at the Golden Triangle Angel Network, the leading Seed Stage Private Investor in Canada, and serves as a Due Diligence Committee Member for the Waterloo Region Community Foundation, which focuses on community support through strategic investments. Additionally, Ruth was Vice Chair of the International Women's Forum - Waterloo Chapter, promoting women's leadership, and co-founded Alert Labs Inc., a firm specializing in IoT technology for property protection. Ruth's educational background includes an MBA from Athabasca University, complemented by studies at Harvard Business School and a B.Sc. from the University of Waterloo.
