Alan Fitch

Alan Fitch has had a long and varied career in the technology industry. Alan began in 1982 as an Applications Engineer at Philips Semiconductors, where they worked on application support and product concept development. Alan then moved on to Cricklade College in 1997, where they taught IT courses and Physics GCSE. In 1998, they joined Doulos Ltd as a Principal Member of the Technical Team, providing training, development, delivery, and consultancy in EDA related languages and methodology. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a contractor for SwitchCore AB and NXP. In 2013, they joined Ericsson Television as a Consultant Engineer. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Consultant at MediaKind Global, developing software for broadcast and over-the-top (OTT) encoding systems. Alan is currently employed as a Principal Verification Engineer at AccelerComm Ltd.

Alan Fitch has a diverse educational background. Alan obtained their PGCE in Secondary Science from the University of Southampton between 1996 and 1997. Alan also obtained their BSc (Hons) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton between 1979 and 1982.
