Mark MacKenzie

Mark Mackenzie is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in IT planning, program management, and regulatory compliance. Currently, as the Director of IT Planning & Analysis at AccelerEd, Mark works closely with leadership to define and support business strategies and objectives. Prior roles include serving as a Senior Program Manager in IT Operations, where Mark assessed program performance and evaluated IT service management initiatives. Mark's earlier experience includes project management and analyst roles at American Public Education, Inc., focusing on GDPR compliance and automation opportunities, and a decade spent as a Park Ranger with the National Park Service, emphasizing visitor safety and legal compliance. Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Hood College and a Federal Law Enforcement Certification from Colorado Northwestern Community College.
