Maureen Lynes

Director, Biology at Accent Therapeutics

Maureen Lynes has had a diverse career in the sciences. In 2004, they were a Summer Intern at Genzyme. From 2005 to 2011, they were a PhD Candidate at Tufts University. In 2011, they became a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Harvard Stem Cell Institute. From 2012 to 2014, they were an Adjunct Instructor at Simmons College, where they taught two laboratory sections of CHEM111, an introductory general chemistry course, one laboratory section of CHEM112, an introductory organic and biochemistry course, and prepared and taught pre-lab lectures. Maureen also graded lab reports, quizzes, and final exams and received high marks on student evaluations. From 2014 to 2019, they were a Senior Scientist, Discovery Biology and Scientist, Biology at FORMA Therapeutics, Inc. Maureen then became Director, Associate Director, and Principal Scientist at Accent Therapeutics, Inc.

Maureen Lynes obtained their PhD in Cellular and Molecular Physiology from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2010. Prior to that, they obtained their BA in Biology from Colby College in 2005.
