Gyan Mainali

Gyan Mainali is an accomplished Cloud Solution Architect with over 14 years of experience in Microsoft Technologies, Cloud Transformation, and Infrastructure Management, currently serving as an Associate Manager at Accenture since June 2022. In this role, Gyan has been instrumental in designing and deploying Azure workloads using ARM, Terraform, and Azure DevOps pipelines, while driving secure identity and access solutions through Microsoft Entra ID, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management. His work also spans automation with PowerShell, Terraform and Azure Runbooks, as well as architecting enterprise-scale hybrid infrastructures with robust governance and compliance.

Prior to this, Gyan advanced through multiple roles at Accenture, where as a Cloud Ops Engineering Specialist he streamlined Entra ID, Azure Governance and Implemented Identity Lifecycle management and Infrastructure as Code practices, embedding automation into provisioning and operations.

Gyan’s career foundation was built at Tata Consultancy Services, where he delivered large-scale migrations from on-premises to Azure and led Windows and Active Directory environments across enterprise clients. Earlier, at Cognizant and Capita IT Enterprise Services, he contributed to the banking domain by administering enterprise Windows environments, enforcing security through patching and group policy, and providing resilient infrastructure support.

His career began with roles at Capgemini, Svn System Technologies, and Infosys, where he developed expertise in Windows server administration, Active Directory, Exchange, virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V), and ITIL-aligned service management.

Across his journey, Gyan has consistently driven transformation — from stabilizing legacy infrastructures to enabling secure, automated, and cloud-native operations. He holds a strong background in Microsoft Azure, Windows Server, and enterprise identity, making him a trusted architect for clients navigating digital modernization.
