Akinjide Akande Aca

Akinjide Akande ACA, ACTI serves as the Group Head of Tax at Access Bank Plc since November 2025. Previously, Akinjide held the position of Lead, Tax Planning and Operations at UBA Group from February 2024 to November 2025 and worked as a Tax Manager at Ecobank Transnational Incorporated from February 2022 to February 2024. Akinjide's extensive experience also includes a tenure as Tax Manager at Stanbic IBTC from November 2012 to January 2022, where significant responsibilities involved budget processes, tax computations, compliance reviews, regulatory filings, and representation during tax audits. Akinjide has also contributed as a Senior Tax Consultant at Saffron Professional Services and as an Associate Consultant at KPMG. Academic credentials include ACA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mining and Mineral Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure, complemented by a qualification from the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. Key achievements include implementing the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act (FATCA) engine within the group and initiating transfer pricing documentation.
