Carol Platt

Carol Platt is a Family Medicine Physician at Access Community Health Centers since August 2022, following a residency at Northwestern Medicine from July 2019 to July 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Spanish Healthcare Interpreter at International Language Services, Inc. from November 2014 to September 2016, where Carol facilitated communication between Spanish-speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare providers in various medical subspecialties. Educational qualifications comprise a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University (2015-2019) and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry with Departmental Honors from the University of Chicago (2008-2012). Additional teaching experience includes roles as a Bilingual Teacher for grades 4 and 5 at Chicago Public Schools and a Hebrew and Religious School Teacher at KAM Isaiah Israel. Research assistant roles at multiple institutions contributed to Carol's scientific expertise, particularly in protein preparation and autoimmune disorder investigation.
