Kym Peters

Kym Peters has a diverse work experience in healthcare and non-profit organizations. Starting in 2006, they worked as an Income Development Manager at the American Cancer Society, where they planned and executed fundraising events and solicited support from donors. From 2007 to 2011, they joined Access Community Health Network as a Quality and Performance Improvement professional, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission standards and leading survey logistics planning. In 2011, they became the Manager of Continual Survey Readiness at Sinai Health System, where they executed various surveys and developed performance improvement plans. In 2012, they returned to Access Community Health Network as a Manager of Accreditation and Performance Improvement, maintaining compliance and addressing compliance gaps. In 2016, they joined Community Care Alliance of Illinois as an Accreditation Manager, ensuring adherence to NCQA health plan accreditation standards and developing sustainable processes. In 2018, they took on the role of Accreditation Consultant at Access Community Health Network, eventually becoming the Director of Quality.

Kym Peters holds a Master of Arts degree in Women's Studies from Roosevelt University, which they completed in 2006.
