Garrett Garner-Wells has a diverse work experience in various fields such as marketing, communications, advocacy, and sales. Garrett currently works as the Brand Marketing & Communications Director at the Access Fund. Prior to this, Garrett served as the Communications Director at Conservation Colorado for three years, where they managed external relations, content creation, and the Communications Team. Before that, they held the position of State Director at both Environment Colorado and the Environment Colorado Research & Policy Center, where they designed and implemented campaigns, managed staff, and crafted effective communications for environmental issues. Garrett also has experience working in alumni communications at the University of Florida Alumni Association, where they served as the Associate Director of Alumni Communications, Assistant Director of Membership & Philanthropy, and Special Projects Coordinator. Additionally, they worked as a Mayoral Aide for the City of Gainesville, managing outreach, creating internship programs, and advocating for the development of the Innovation District. Earlier in their career, Garrett worked as a Campaign Manager for Craig Lowe for Mayor and as a Field Organizer for the Human Rights Campaign. Garrett also briefly worked as a Sales Representative at Dragonpoint, Inc. and as a Technology Consultant at the University of Florida.
