Primary Duties:
Work closely with the rest of the finance team on the month-end closing process and financial reporting to parent company according to strict deadlines.
Process and maintain biweekly payroll by collating, calculating, and entering payroll data. Prepare journal entries for payroll and payroll related accruals.
Work with CPA firm on annual audit and tax returns.
Work closely with CFO, Accounting Manager, and Accounting Clerk to set accounting policy that meets the needs of the entire organization.
Reconciliations – bank and other balance sheet accounts as part of the month-end closing process.
Monitor cash flow and credit card transactions and maintain proper limit on credit card.
Initiate and approve ACH and wire transactions.
Provide reporting to CFO and CEO regarding financial performance of Chinese subsidiaries.
Troubleshoot complex accounting transactions.
Provide support for the budgeting process by calculating payroll expenses based on staffing plan.
Provide support to CFO for quarterly self-audit.
Standard Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in business/accounting, or equivalent education and experience.
3-5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Familiarity with GAAP reporting requirements.
Strong Excel skills – pivot tables, v-lookups, etc. Ability to create reports and forms from scratch and from exported data.
ERP experience required.
Experience in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Professional verbal and written communication skills.
