Friederike Moellers has a strong background in microfinance and banking. Friederike started their career as a Credit Consultant at AccessBank Tanzania in 2009. Friederike then moved on to AccessBank Liberia, where they served as Branch Manager and Head of Micro Credits from 2009 to 2011. After that, they joined AccèsBanque Madagascar as the Credit Manager/Deputy CEO, where they managed the bank's loan portfolio and implemented credit procedures during a severe economic crisis. In 2013, they transitioned to Access Microfinance Holding AG as the AccessCampus Manager until 2017. Friederike went on to become the Interim CEO at AccessBank Liberia for a brief period in 2016. From 2014 to 2019, they also served as the Director of the Supervisory Board at AccèsBanque Madagascar. In 2018, they took on the role of Head of Business at Access Microfinance Holding AG. Throughout their career, Friederike Moellers has demonstrated expertise in risk management, business development, and operational management.
Friederike Moellers obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from the University of Düsseldorf from 2000 to 2003. Friederike later pursued a Master's degree in Social Sciences from Freiburg University in Germany, the University of KwaZuluNatal in South Africa, and Jawaharlal Nehru University in India from 2005 to 2007.
