Yahaya Abubakar

Yahaya Abubakar has a strong background in human resources and administration. Yahaya started their career as the Plant Human Resources Manager at Nigerian Bottling Company Ltd in 2003. Yahaya then moved on to become the Head of Human Resources & Administration at Trustfund Pensions Plc in 2007 and later at Africa Leadership Forum HQ in 2008. Most recently, they held the role of Head of Human Resources & Administration at Sigma Pensions Ltd starting in 2012.

Yahaya Abubakar has a strong educational background with a focus in business administration and management. Yahaya began their education at Kaduna Capital School in Kaduna, where they obtained their Primary School Leaving Certificate in 1985. Continuing their academic journey, they attended Federal Government College in Kaduna from 1985 to 1991, achieving their Senior Secondary Certificate of Education. Following this, they enrolled at Ahmadu Bello University from 1992 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management. Yahaya’s pursuit of knowledge led him to the University of Hull in 2001, where they earned a Master's degree in Business Administration.
