Web Application Developer at Access Sciences

Nikolay Kostromitin has had a varied career, beginning in 2008 when they worked as a Geospatial Services at Oregon State University. Here they maintained the university's campus map using ArcGIS and AutoCAD, generated custom maps for clients, and provided customer service for current campus construction and renovation projects. In 2011, they became an Environment Health & Safety Intern at WaferTech, LLC, where they managed annual projects including personal noise dosimetry, site-wide noise surveys, tool radiation surveys, and ventilation hood face velocity testing. Nikolay also performed site-wide safety audits and was introduced to OSHA regulations and ISO 16001 standards. In 2012, they took on the role of Carpenter, PRN at Western Hardwood Cabinets, Inc. In 2015, they joined City of Corvallis Public Works as an Engineering Technician III. Since 2016, they have been working at Access Sciences, where they have held various roles, including Web Application Developer, Platform and Software Engineer, Web Application System Support, BIM Coordinator II, and CAD Drafter III and I. As a CAD Drafter III, they provided hardware and software support to drafters and Document Control groups, generated guides for using various programs and shared corresponding presentations, and improved workflow and efficiency through batch processing and simplifying common tasks. As a CAD Drafter I, they maintained an accurate set of master construction drawings for Oregon and California Intel campuses, followed documented standards to ensure product consistency and quality, and delivered and tracked project-specific drawings requested by customers.

Nikolay Kostromitin received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Environmental/Environmental Health Engineering from Oregon State University between 2008 and 2012. In August 2012, they obtained an Engineering Intern certification from the Oregon State Board of Examiners for Engineering and Land Surveying. In October 2015, they obtained a Temporary Traffic Control Plans Design certification from the Oregon Department of Transportation.
