Heather MacLeod

Heather MacLeod is a versatile professional with a strong background in education and the arts. Currently serving as a Teacher at the NYC Department of Education since October 2023, Heather also works as a Voice Over Artist for ACCESS TALENT since December 2020, and pursues a career as a Freelance Musician, specializing in classical singing since January 2012. Previous experience includes roles as an Elementary Teacher for the Greater Victoria School District and as an Artist in Residence at the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity. Heather has also contributed as a Voice Teacher for the Kamloops Symphony and has participated in prestigious programs such as the Young Artist program at the Russian Opera Workshop and the Fellowship at SongFest. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Theatre and English from New York University, a Post-Baccalaureate Bachelor of Education from Vancouver Island University, and a Bachelor of Music from both the University of Victoria and Louisiana State University.
