Martijn Van Gerven

Research Programme Manager at Access to Medicine Foundation

Martijn van Gerven currently serves as the Research Programme Manager at the Access to Medicine Foundation since January 2021, leading the Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) programme to engage the pharmaceutical industry in addressing AMR. Previous experience includes roles at The Decision Group from December 2019 to July 2020, where responsibilities encompassed managing Value Based HealthCare projects and conducting comprehensive business analyses. Martijn's early career involved a Graduate Internship at FFUND, performing research to support Dutch biotech companies, and a Communication Assistant role at Vilans, focusing on improving quality of care through evidence-based protocols. Martijn holds a Master's degree in Molecular Nutrition and Toxicology and a Master's track in Entrepreneurship from Wageningen University & Research, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition & Health from the same institution, complemented by a minor in Genetics & Immunology from Stockholm University.
