Debbie Swartz

Debbie Swartz has extensive experience in the legal and compliance field. Debbie served as the Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at AccessLex Institute since 2013, where they were responsible for the Legal, Compliance and Internal Audit functions. Prior to that, Swartz worked as a Principal at DCS Consulting, specializing in e-discovery, litigation practice management, information governance, and compliance. Debbie also held the position of Associate General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at AmerisourceBergen Corporation from 2000 to 2012, where they managed and coordinated all company litigation and led a comprehensive Compliance and Ethics Program. Swartz has spoken at various industry events on topics such as incident response planning, cybersecurity governance, post-Covid work environments, and effective records management and e-discovery strategies.

Debbie Swartz obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate education at Swarthmore College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History with distinction.
