Taliah Reid

Taliah Reid, SPHR, has a diverse range of work experience in the field of human resources. Taliah is currently the Director of Human Resources at the Association County Commissioners of Georgia, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Human Resources Manager at the same organization from April 2017 to January 2023.

Before joining the Association County Commissioners of Georgia, Taliah worked as a Human Resources Generalist at The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta from October 2010 to April 2017. Taliah also gained experience as a Human Resources Assistant & Office Manager at the Higher Living Christian Church: Community Impact Center from August 2008 to October 2010.

Taliah's earlier work experience includes positions as a Human Resources Analyst, Sr at City of Atlanta from July 2006 to May 2008, a Mortgage Services Associate at Atlanta Habitat for Humanity from August 2004 to June 2006, and a Human Resources Assistant at THE BRIDGE, INC from February 2003 to August 2004.

Taliah started their career as an Executive Assistant at TEMPORARY PLACEMENT AGENCIES from June 2002 to February 2003. In addition, Taliah served as a Student Host at North Atlanta High School from 1994 to 1998.

Taliah Reid, SPHR, has a history of education and certifications that have prepared their for a career in human resources. Taliah began their education at Mercer University, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A) degree in Marketing from 1998 to 2002. Later, in 2005 to 2007, they attended Troy University, where they obtained a Master of Science in Management (MSM) degree with a focus on Management and HR.

In addition to their educational background, Taliah Reid has also acquired several certifications to enhance their professional qualifications. Taliah obtained their Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in June 2010. In May 2015, they obtained the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). Continuing their commitment to professional development, they obtained the Recruiting Foundations: Recruiting for In-House Recruiters certification from LinkedIn in February 2022. Most recently, in February 2023, they achieved the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from HRCI.
