Augusto Vazquez has over 20 years of experience in banking and financial services. Augusto is currently working at Accion Opportunity Fund as the SVP of Small Business Lending Sales. Prior to this, they worked at Citi, where they held various roles including SVP of Division Sales Manager - Retail Business Banking, Sr. Vice President Branch Manager, VP of Small Business Sales Coach, and Vice President and Branch Manager. Before joining Citi, they worked at Popular Community Bank as Vice President and Branch Manager, and at Colonial Bank as Vice President and Branch Manager, as well as AVP Assistant Branch Manager. Throughout their career, Augusto has demonstrated expertise in business development, community relations enhancement, coaching, and sales.

Augusto Vazquez completed their education with a focus on business and finance. Augusto first attended Miami Dade College from 1997 to 1999, where they earned an Associates in Arts degree with a field of study in Business Administration. Augusto then pursued their bachelor's degree at Florida International University - College of Business from 1999 to 2001, graduating with a BA in Business Management. Wanting to further enhance their knowledge and skills, Vazquez went on to pursue a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance at Nova Southeastern University from 2019 to 2022.
